My view of the Lord's Recovery and the local churches has been changing since I have gotten a little older and since the truth and the reality concerning them has been revealed to me a little more. I grew up attending local church meetings, touching the Lord a little here and there. Much of the time when I was younger, I was a “good kid,” going to the meetings, attending high school retreats, etc. I definitely touched something real of the Lord at times, especially at retreats, but there was a lack in my experience and I was doing many things simply out of religious duty.
Recently, more and more, I have come to see Christ in the brothers and sisters, I find Christ in my Christian service, and I hear Christ speaking through the other believers. Christ and the riches of Christ are here but in ways I never saw before. My experience of Christ both corporately and individually has deepened. Christ has grown in me. How I love Him!
